In October 2025, we enrolled in a contest open to schools nationwide. A structured school-work training program focused on concrete and challenging objectives: the creation of a team and the design and construction, using a 3D printer, of a Formula 1 single-seater. Considering parameters such as weight, aerodynamics, and track performance, we brought to life a scale model car.
After the design, we had to conduct experiments on the car to evaluate its performance. Thanks to the physics laboratories and equipment provided by our school, we were able to implement and learn from our mistakes to create the best possible model.
Furthermore, it was necessary to find sponsors to help us economically and project-wise: thanks to Wonder s.p.a, Officina del Trofeo, and Service Car Desenzano, our project was able to come to life.
On February 6, 2026, we participated in the first qualifying race at Dallara where we achieved 9th place, thus qualifying for the subsequent competition on April 29 at Imola where we qualified 7th, also winning the sponsorship and marketing award.
